The Story of Little Babaji by Helen Bannerman

This is one of Sebastian’s favourite books.

This story is based in India about a little boy called Babaji who gets some fine clothes from his parents.  One day he goes into the jungle and sees tigers who want to eat him so Babaji gives them his clothes.  The tigers all fight and spin as fast as a tornado and turn into butter (ghee).  The story ends with their mother making pancakes from this ghee and the family gobbling them all up.

This book is beautiful because of the pictures and the describing words that are used.  I think it keeps your attention.  Sebastian loves this book so much and know all the words in the book.  He especially loves the pictures of the tigers.
